Color, to me, has a language of its' own and depicts form naturally. I painted these vine ripe tomatoes using vivid color and bold brush strokes.

About Me
- Camille
- I live in a rural area of East Alabama. I am a single mother with five children (two of which still live at home.) I have been painting all of my life. By profession I have been a graphic illustrator and a customer service rep... but my passion is painting. I love to paint still lifes, landscapes, abstracts and portraits. I have a bachelor of Fine Art degree from Auburn University. I have also studied under various portrait painters. Much of my work is inspired by 19th century Impressionist artists, particularly the French artist Paul Cezanne. (I love his use of color.) I lead an art group at my church called ArtReach. We look for ways to honor God through art. We paint together one day per month, sponsor workshops and do one or two art shows per year that focus on christian themed art. I will be posting new paintings to this site often. Most of the paintings will be for sale.
